Hold the #4 round tool slightly above center at about a 45" angle. Once you find the “sweet spot” it cuts very free. Do not try to “ride the bevel,” but position the tool to utilize the cutting action of the chip groove.
Once the tool edge dulls, simply rotate the carbide disc cutter for a fresh edge. Replace the cutter when it wears out.
