Aluminum oxide grinding wheels are a giant step above conventional cutting wheels, which tend to burn tools as the grinding surface becomes dull and glazed.
Ideal for chisels and plane irons.
Made of granulated aluminum oxide with a vitrified white bond, which allows the grains of abrasive to wear off, providing a consistently fresh grinding surface.
6" dia. wheels have 3/4" width and 1/2" dia. arbor hole.
8" dia. wheels have 1" width and 1" dia. arbor hole; includes reducer bushing to fit 3/4" and 5/8" shafts.
Recommended for maximum 4140 RPM.
Dressing stone stick is 10" long with handle. Made from Crystolon.
