For single hand gripping operation, the GripVac handle features a soft over-mold surface that molds to the operators hand for maximum comfort and control. This grip method is often preferred when using the router on dovetail machines with repetitive front-to-back movements.
For maximum dust control and additional hand gripping versatililty, the standard base handle is replaceable with the GripVac handle (#26820 not included). The GripVac attachment mounts over the dust access hole.
The GripVac attachment (not included) minimizes vacumn hose interference by efficiently exhausting the dust through the top of the handle. Must be used with the clear dust insert included with the base. Dust insert mounts inside the base by removing the sub-base and attraching between the base casting and plastic sub-base.
