Jig holds molding at correct angle to eliminate complex compound angles. All you need to do is make a 45º cut! Features easy-to-follow reference guide attached to the jig. Can be used on cove and crown molding 2" to 4-1/2" wide. Fits any 10" and larger miter saw.

Miter Saw Not Included.
 Warning! For your own safety, read and follow your manufacturer's instruction manual and safety warnings before operating the tool. Always use safety glasses.
   
Cutting reference guide is included on the jig.
   
Cutting 90º Inside Corner:
 
Left Piece:
• Set miter saw to 45º right.
• Position piece to be cut and jig to the right side of the blade.
 Right Piece:
• Set miter saw to 45º left.
• Position piece to be cut and jig to the left side of the blade.
Note: Always cut workpiece with bottom edge up.
   
Cutting 90º Outside Corner:
 
Left Piece:
• Set miter saw to 45º left.
• Position piece to be cut and jig to the right side of the blade.
 Right Piece:
• Set miter saw to 45º right.
• Position piece to be cut and jig to the left side of the blade.
Note: Always cut workpiece with bottom edge up.
   
We've made cutting crown molding easy!

Jig Setup:
1) Place your molding in the jig with the bottom edge resting against the back fence. Be sure the molding is positioned correctly.
2) Adjust the movable fence so it butts against the edge of the molding as shown.

Cutting a Miter:
1) Set the miter saw according to reference guide shown on the jig.
2) Position the jig on the correct side of the blade, keeping it at a minimum of 1/2" from the blade.
3) Position the molding in the jig and hold both the jig and the workpiece against the miter saw fence. Warning: Always keep hands at least 4" from the miter saw blade.
4) With the power off, check the path of the blade to validate it clears the jig.
5) Make the first cut and immediately let the saw come to a complete stop before raising to its rest position.
